Lost Wax Bronze CastsThis last year I've been exploring Lost Wax Bronze Casting at Santa Barbara City College.
My first piece was lost in a bad cast. I have one figure I call "Captive" that I've cast in bronze.(I have 3 views shown) I have another figure I call "Running Blind" that I show here in wax (4 views). It's now in an investment mold that is in a kiln. The wax will melt out leaving room for the molten bronze - "Lost Wax". The bronze pour will be this Friday evening.
